Kyle and ChanceChance is a boy who brought hope and love to everyone around him. Whether you met him once or were around from day one, our son had this effect on people that just made them smile.

Hope For Chance and this website is run by Chance’s parents, Michelle and Kyle Moskiewicz. We are both active duty Marines stationed in Eastern North Carolina. Kyle is originally from a beautiful upstate area in New York, while I came from a town in Western Iowa. We met while serving in the Marine Corps  and thankfully have had very supportive commands throughout our journey of surviving child loss. We enjoy sharing stories and pictures of Chance, explaining our own story of child loss, being an advocate for survivors of SIDS and child loss and their daily struggles with PTSD, depression, suicidal idealizations/tenancies, advocates for infertility, fishing, watching movies, mentoring, and raising Chance’s twin Rainbow brothers, Liam and Brentley.

Our plan for Hope For Chance is to spread awareness for SIDS/SUDIC by encouraging people to speak out and support the parents suffering from infant loss, to educate others on safe sleeping practices, Hopefully, one day we can find the cause of this silent killer and find a cure.

Michelle and ChanceWe plan on using any donations made to help fund research for SIDS by donating to the families in need of assistance with funerals, awareness events, and researchers in different hospitals that continue on the fight against this syndrome.
